This procedure stimulates the production of collagen with minimal epidermal damage or redness. Sakoon the Spa, is proud to use the Innopendevice, the only FDA approved Microneedling device in the US to improve fine lines, acne scars, sun damage, and skin’s overall appearance.

This procedure utilizes a series of micro needles to stimulate the production of collagen with little to no downtime. Microneedling uses an automatic, spring-loaded tip with a series of micro needles. These micro needles create small channels in the skin which enhances the production of collagen and new skin cells.

How It Works:

During your treatment, a device consisting of tiny needles is carefully moved over areas of the skin. The micro-piercings created by the device stimulate production of collagen and elastin in the skin. Your skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis (inner skin layer) with a softening and reduction in lines and wrinkles. The InnoPen creates superficial micro-channels which allow customized nutrient serums, such as a vitamin C-serum or other serum chosen based on desired outcome, to be absorbed more effectively into the skin, enhancing treatment outcomes

The InnoPen Treatment Experience

At your appointment at Sakoon, one of our trained technicians will start by cleansing the skin and applying a topical numbing cream 30 minutes before starting treatment. Your technician will then adjust the speed of the reciprocating needle tip for optimal results and to minimize any discomfort. A topical serum is applied before you leave. Some patients associate the feeling of treatment with the sensation of sandpaper being moved across the skin.
